Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD)
Our CFD expertise enables precise analysis of fluid dynamics, optimizing flow designs and enhancing performance in air and gas treatment systems.
Improve Performance with Cutting-Edge CFD Solutions
CRANFOS specializes in fluid dynamics through computational analysis (CFD). Studies of this kind are complex and require mastery of numerous process variables such as temperature, pressure, speed, etc., in addition to enormous processing power provided by state-of-the-art computers, combined with the 3D graphical interface that is standard in our work.
Our team of experts is comprised of CFD experts and industrial process engineers with many years of experience in air and gas treatment systems. Traditional flow analysis constraints limit design accuracy and make it difficult to visualize the resolution of fluid flow problems. This applies to both single-phase and multiphase cases, and is particularly true for problems that are three-dimensional in nature and involve turbulence, chemical reactions, and/or heat and mass transfer.
Increase Productivity with CFD Accuracy
All of these phenomena can be considered in conjunction with the application of Computational Fluid Analysis, a powerful technique that can help overcome many constraints that influence traditional analysis.
In CFD applications, we work with pressure loss (or head loss), flow routing, variations in flow velocity, mixing evaluation, simulation of one or more nozzles for open pipes, ducts or within confined vessels. Its use also helps to evaluate Standard Fluids of the SNCR and SCR type.
Study results are typically presented in the form of color-coded graphs to aid easy identification of flows and mixing patterns, as well as comprehensive data reports depending on project needs.
